About Tarini
Tarini (she/her) brings a unique perspective to YoR workshops, drawing from her personal experience as someone in long-term recovery from heroin use disorder. For the past 10 years, she has closely studied with Durga Leela, incorporating the practices of Yoga of Recovery into her unique recovery journey. Celebrating 9 years of sobriety, Tarini‘s deep passion lies in serving the recovery community beyond the confines of clinical rehab settings, recognizing that only a small percentage of individuals affected by addictions receive formal treatment. In these workshops Tarini shares how yoga offers a stabilizing impact on the lives of those suffering with substance use disorder, their loved ones and Peer support coaches. She teaches from the place of a person with lived experience and the classes are highly relatable and accessbible. We’re all aware how much support is needed for every single person impacted by this disease and we hope you’ll join us.
