Red Hill House is a friendly, professional environment run by 2 Sivananda yoga teachers with a combined 20 years of dedicated meditation and yoga practice.  They offer delicious organic Ayurvedic food, elegant surroundings and excellent service.

Red Hill House can house only 11 students comfortably so you must reserve your place on the special retreat very early.

3-day retreat with Herb Kaighan at Mary & Joseph Retreat Center

Early bird retreat tuition $150 per person.  Choose accommodation or commuter – Single and double rooms available, commuters can opt for meals to be included at extra cost, this part all by arrangement directly with retreat center, simply add $150 to your accommodation/meal option prices.

Durga and Herb Kaighan will lead this retreat. Herb’s personal journey includes 7 years in the seminary, a graduate education in psychology, and a 40-year career in human resources consulting.  He’s been clean & sober via the 12 steps since February 1984.  In 1988, as the result of working the steps, with the assistance of a ‘Step Guide”, he experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Since then he has been very involved in carrying the 12 step message through sponsorship, facilitating workshops, writing books, and leading retreats.

The Yoga Farm is located in the foothills of California’s Sierra Mountains, situated in the heart of California’s Mother Lode Country. It is surrounded by rolling hills, forests of oak and pine, and clear streams. Situated on the banks of the James River in Buckingham, Virginia with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop, Yogaville encompasses over 600 acres of serene, wooded landscape.

The most popular accommodations are Dormitory Accommodations – shared room and shared bath. Private dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms are also available for one or two people. Private rooms are available in our two Lotus Guest Houses. You may also bring your own tent, bedding and towels and camp in a quiet, wooded area. Campers have use of bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities nearby. Tent sites are available both with and without platforms.
