The Yoga Ranch is located 100 miles from New York City, on 77 acres in the New York Catskills. A shortline bus from Penn Station takes you there in just over one hour from NY city.  There are two guest buildings; one is a turn-of-the-century farmhouse, the other a small 1920′s hotel built by the original owners as a place to provide fresh air for their NYC neighbors. Most accommodation is in simple shared rooms or single rooms, with separate, shared bathrooms.  Several small apartments with private bathrooms are also available.  Tenting is also welcome.

Durga and Herb Kaighan will lead this retreat. Herb’s personal journey includes 7 years in the seminary, a graduate education in psychology, and a 40-year career in human resources consulting.  He’s been clean & sober via the 12 steps since February 1984.  In 1988, as the result of working the steps, with the assistance of a ‘Step Guide”, he experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Since then he has been very involved in carrying the 12 step message through sponsorship, facilitating workshops, writing books, and leading retreats.

The Yoga Farm is located in the foothills of California’s Sierra Mountains, situated in the heart of California’s Mother Lode Country. It is surrounded by rolling hills, forests of oak and pine, and clear streams. Here are 70 acres of secluded peace and solitude, where the sounds of nature soothe the mind and body – ideal for yoga retreats and meditation.  In spring and summer yoga classes are held on the outdoor deck shaded by a grove of oak trees.  You can take a meditative walk in our Peace Miracle Labyrinth; casual, contemplative walks around the beautiful 40 acres, and the adjacent 30 acres or hike the 108 steps to Siva hill.  A cedar sauna is open year round.  Pleasant, simple lodging in dorms, double occupancy rooms or cabins.  Our cabins are set on the hillside overlooking the pond and surrounded by the natural beauty of the ashram, providing total peace and tranquility.  If you prefer to sleep closer to nature in the fresh, clean open air you can bring your own camping gear.

The Yoga Retreat is an island paradise with crystal clear water and pure white sands… a true sanctuary of peace and natural beauty. It is located across the bay from Nassau on one of the finest beaches of the world. Five and a half acres of tropical paradise await you where you will find a heaven far from the hectic demands of everyday life.

The Retreat is built around a semi-closed outdoor meditation temple. There are spacious exercise platforms facing the warm blue green water of the Caribbean. Situated on the banks of the James River in Buckingham, Virginia with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop, Yogaville encompasses over 600 acres of serene, wooded landscape.

The most popular accommodations are Dormitory Accommodations – shared room and shared bath. Private dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms are also available for one or two people. Private rooms are available in our two Lotus Guest Houses. You may also bring your own tent, bedding and towels and camp in a quiet, wooded area. Campers have use of bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities nearby. Tent sites are available both with and without platforms.
