This is the first in a series of modules offered by the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization in collaboration with Dr David Frawley (Vamadeva). The course manuals are derived from the correspondence courses of the American Institute of Vedic Studies.
Taught by Durga Leela and resident Swamis of the Yoga Farm. Guest comment from previous course … “My experience at the ashram taught me so much about myself and provided me with discipline around my yoga. Swami Sitaramananda provided deep wisdom on yoga philosophy with so much sacred space and presence–I was able to go deep in my own explorations in every class that she taught. Durga Leela provided such depth, humility, and practical wisdom on Ayurveda. She was able to convey the foundation of this amazing science with humor and practicality. I’m not sure I would’ve ever been able to receive this wisdom through any book (because I have read many on this topic!). Durga was able to demonstrate the yogic life through her interactions with Swami, her gentle kindness and humility with students, her flexibility balanced with discipline, and her pure joy for life. I am honored to have been her student.”
