This 10 day/100 hours certificate course is designed for Yoga students or teachers from all traditions to learn more about how to work with the mind. It is based on the teaching of Yoga Psychology (Patanjali) combined with the teaching of the Self of Vedanta Philosophy (Sankaracharya). Ayurveda Psychology will also be presented with its practical methods of how to heal and balance the mind.
There will be case studies and discussions on counseling strategies to help therapists or people who are working in a counseling role for people with emotional and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, eating disorders.
Upon completion of the course, you will have the skills to introduce the healing potentials of the holistic science of Yoga and Ayurveda into your own life and those around you.

The course will be held in famous Cu Chi, 45 miles NW of Ho Chi Minh city, a one-hour drive from the airport. Cu Chi, with its rice fields and iconic rural South Vietnam landscape, is the most popular tourist attraction in Vietnam due to the proximity of the famous Cu Chi tunnels created during the Vietnam war. The Wellness Center (Ba Thuong) is located in 17 acres of a quiet and green landscape.
The rooms are comfortable with separate bathrooms, equipped with hot and cold water, sink and WC, to a Western standard. This newly constructed facility is equipped with all modern conveniences. Built as a wellness center, the facility is equipped with massage treatment rooms, sauna, steam bath, as well as a medical building. Laundry service, internet, postal service and security services are provided. There will be 2 vegetarian buffet-style meals provided daily, plus a light tea and snack service for breakfast. The food served will be a combination of typical vegetarian Vietnamese cuisine and international, healthy vegetarian cuisine. Snacks, drinks and fruit are available for purchase in the boutique and gift shop.

Swami Sitaramananda is a gifted speaker and teacher of Yoga and Meditation, serving for more than twenty-five years in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashrams & Centers. Swami Sitaramananda’s great experience of the intricacy of spiritual life, her vedic knowledge and her love of spiritual seekers have made her an able spiritual teacher.
She is an internationally respected teacher who presents the intricate yoga philosophy and practice in a simple, down to earth and humorous manner. She is an expert in teaching Positive thinking and how to deal with the mind and the emotions.
